Two familiar USB ports
Connect a compatible phone, power bank, light or other small USB device using the appropriate charging cable. Having both USB-A and USB-C makes it easier to work with the cables already in your travel kit.
Four sections, one compact pack
The panel folds to 304 × 248 × 18.8 mm for transport and opens to 913 × 304 mm to collect sunlight. Unfold it fully at your destination, then fold it away when you move on.
Position it where the sun reaches
Lay the open panel on a suitable surface or use its hanging points and included carabiners. Choose a stable, unshaded position and adjust its direction as the sun moves; placement makes a difference to the energy available.
A charging break at camp
Set up the panel while you prepare lunch or settle into camp, and use the daylight window to top up a compatible USB essential.
A spare option for day trips
Keep the folded panel with your outdoor gear so a sunny stop can become an opportunity to charge a small device.
Check the device as well as the plug
Use a device designed for charging through USB-A or USB-C and a suitable cable. The 40W rating describes the panel under standard test conditions; it is not a promise of 40W from either USB port.

A few useful answers.
Does it store electricity?
No. The S40 generates power from sunlight. A separately supplied compatible power bank can store energy for use later.
Will every USB device charge?
The device must accept the available USB output and use a suitable cable. Charging behavior also depends on its own input requirements and the sunlight.
Why does charging speed change?
Shade, cloud cover, panel angle, temperature and the connected device all affect output. Keep the panel fully unfolded and clear of shadows.
Can I charge while hiking?
The hanging points offer placement options, but changing angles and shadows can reduce output. A stable position in direct sunlight is preferable when you stop.
